Important notice[modifica wikitesto]

Sorry for writing in English, my Italian is really poor. The person who created this article has a "Conflict of Interest" in it, and may probably be the person cited in the article as "inventor" of the mousepad. You can check the discussion archive of the English article to see that this person is obsessed with this issue and won't let it go. Here you have the proven facts, as stated by the people who reviewed the English article:

1.- The mouse was invented in 1968, and it was held by some kind of "tray" 2.- The year after, in 1969, John Kelley invented a mousepad. This is claimed by John Kelley himself (http://www.hermanmiller.com/CDA/SSA/Designer/0,,a10-c80-b14,00.html) and by Alex Pang (http://www.americanheritage.com/articles/magazine/it/2002/3/2002_3_48.shtml) 3.- In 1979 Xerox made reference to a mousepad designed by Armando M. Fernandez in a Disclosure Journal, but it doesn't make any reference to wether the invention is original or not.

With this facts, the IP that created the article insists that Armando M. Fernandez is the one and only inventor of the mousepad, which is at least unproven so far. I recommend that somebody takes a close look at this article and adds the apropriate sources. Again, sorry for writing in English, --Santiperez 21:44, 29 feb 2008 (CET)[rispondi]
