Revisione bozza[modifica wikitesto]

[@ Lucarosty] Sorry my Italian is not so good, I hope it is ok if I write to you in English. I created this article because I thought it would be good to have an article about the about the Nordic Africa Institute in the Italian language version of wikipedia (articles about the institute already exist in 11 other language versions). The text has been translated by one of the Institute's researchers, who is Italian, but he unfortunately does not have a Wikipedia account so I just took his translation and posted it. From your comment I gather that there is something you want me to do, or to correct, before the article can be approved for publication. If I understood correctly, you wrote that the current version has already been revised and cannot be re-proposed before further changes. I interpret that as if there is already an existing article about the Nordic Africa Institute on the Italian Wikipedia, but no matter how I search for it I can't find it. If I made a mistake of creating a second version of an already existing article, I am truly sorry, and I would like to kindly ask you to refer me to this article so that I can contribute to it. If I misunderstood, if the changes you want me to do are of another nature, could you please specify. Sorry for not speaking Italian, and for not understanding fully. Best regards / Hankydoodle (Henrik Alfredsson, communication officer at the Nordic Africa Institute) --Hankydoodle (msg) 10:46, 1 feb 2024 (CET)[rispondi]

Hi, for me is not a problem to write in english! No at the moment there's not an articol about the institute. If you have submitted a translation you have also to use the template {{tradotto da}} to keep reference to the original article. --LucaRosty (Scrivimi) 14:20, 1 feb 2024 (CET)[rispondi]
[@ Hankydoodle] Since a researcher of the institute wrote the article, there is now a conflict of interest in your contribution that you have to make explicit through a declaration before requesting the publication of your draft. Needless to say, there's nothing wrong with having a conflict of interest while editing Wikipedia. So don't get me wrong: I'm not criticising you. :-) This declaration is simply part and parcel of the guidelines of Wikipedia. You can find the instructions here (in Italian). Since you don't speak Italian, I summarise them for you:
  • click here and write something like «Dichiaro di contribuire in conflitto d'interesse nella voce Istituto Nordico per l’Africa per incarico ricevuto dall'istituto stesso» (I think you may also write this in English, if you prefer)
  • click here and write again the very same declaration.
For any questions, don't hesitate to contact me. Cheers, --—Supernabla🪰 17:03, 1 feb 2024 (CET)[rispondi]
Thanks for your friendly and thorough explanations. I'm not a very experienced wikipedia user, also my Italian is not so good, so I didn't grasp with what I was expected to complete the article before I could re-submit it for approval. I have now added a declaration of conflict of interest and I hope I got the syntax correct. I have also created a user page for myself in Italian, just to be transparent with the fact that I work for the Nordic Africa Institute (which of course is a relevant piece of information regarding the conflict-of-interest declaration). I will now re-submit it for approval, hoping for it to be published. If there are still inconsistencies, please let me know. Thanks for your patience.
