Abdullahi Ahmed An-Na'im

Abdullahi Ahmed An-Na'im (Sudan, ...) è un giurista sudanese.

Svolge il ruolo di Charles Howard Candler Professor in Legge presso la Emory University School of Law di Atlanta. È specializzato in diritti umani nell'Islam e nei rapporti inter-culturali. È direttore del programma sui Diritti Umani e Religiosi presso la Emory. Partecipa inoltre al Center for the Study of Law and Religion. An-Naim è stato Direttore Esucutivo della sede africana del Human Rights Watch. Egli ambisce ad una sinergia e ad un'interdipndenza fra diritti umani, religione e secolarismo, invece della dicotomia e dell'incompatibilità.

An-Naim è originario del Sudan, dove è stato profondamente influenzato dal movimento riformatore islamico di Mahmoud Mohamed Taha.
